Mahj in Your Holiday Jammies!

A Holiday Mahjong Pajama Party Get ready for a festive evening of Mahjong, holiday pajamas, friendly competition, shopping, laughter, and a little holiday magic! 🀄🎁 Join Unique Mahjong for our Holiday Mahjong Pajama Party, featuring a beginner-friendly, tournament-style Mahjong competition! Whether you're a regular at our open plays or joining us for the very first time, everyone is welcome! You do not need to be part of our Mahjong club to attend. 🀄 Let the Friendly Competition Begin! We'll be playing two rounds of Mahjong, with four timed games per round (20 minutes per game). We'll use tournament-style scoring, including winning hands and dead-hand penalties, with prizes awarded to our top three highest-scoring players! 🏆 First Place, Second Place & Third Place will each receive special prizes! Prizes may include Mahjong tiles, mats, racks, gift cards, and other fun surprises. This is a beginner-friendly tournament-style event, so our goal is to introduce a little friendly competition while keeping the experience fun, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. 🀄 We're Playing the BIG Card! To help level the playing field, we'll be using the BIG Card instead of the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card. Want to practice before the party? Throughout November, we'll be incorporating the BIG Card, tournament-style scoring, and festive Christmas Mahjong tiles into our regular guided open plays. We'll help you get comfortable with the card, the rules, timed games, and scoring so you can arrive feeling confident! Practicing beforehand is encouraged but absolutely not required. The BIG Card will also be available for purchase at our clinic. 🎄 Festive Christmas Mahjong Tiles! We'll be playing with beautiful, festive Christmas Mahjong tile sets throughout the event! You'll also have opportunities to try these special holiday sets during our November open plays. 🛍️ Holiday Mahjong Shop! Looking for the perfect Mahjong gift for yourself or someone special? We'll have a Holiday Mahjong Shop featuring a selection of boutique Mahjong tiles and accessories available for purchase! Unique Mahjong is proud to work with multiple Mahjong tile companies as a wholesale retailer, allowing us to bring a variety of beautiful tile collections and accessories directly to our community. Have a favorite Mahjong brand you'd love us to carry? Let us know! We'd love your suggestions and will see if we can bring your favorite collections to the clinic in time for our holiday party. 🎁 More Than Just Mahjong!
